Oct 2017 - BBC Radio 5 Live - UK Emma Barnett interviews Jamie McCartney about The Great Wall of Vagina

*UPDATE!!* Extended to 15 April 2018 AN EXHIBITION OF FLAGS MADE FROM HUNDREDS OF WOMEN IN THEIR UNDERWEAR For the last five years I have been making photos from members of the public in their underwear using an adapted document scanner, which produces a very particular style of image. Exhibiting in the Brighton Photo Fringe for the second consecutive time, the show debuts this unique series of flags made using those scans. It took years to amass enough images to build these flags including scanning the public at events such as Glastonbury Festival in 2014. Some of my work uses the emotions people attach to such symbols for sociopolitical effect but this series is just about the joy of making cool visuals and supporting a good cause.
