Freedom from Torture is very excited to announce its exclusive Private View of our biennial art exhibition and auction, Artists Drawing a Line under Torture, which in our 30th year will feature some of the biggest names in the contemporary art world. This Private View and Auction is a unique opportunity to enjoy an evening of drinks and canapés whilst browsing and bidding for the incredible paintings, sculptures and prints available. With all proceeds going directly to Freedom from Torture, your investment will help us help survivors of torture. We are delighted to confirm that the auction will again include works donated by Jamie McCartney, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Antony Gormley, Michael Craig-Martin, Edmund de Waal, Gillian Ayres, Ian Davenport, Julian Opie, Quentin Blake, Alan Cristea Gallery and many more established and emerging names in the art world, all available for you to bid on throughout the evening. London celebrates the 7th Annual Passion For Freedom Art Festival Nine months on from the tragic shootings at Charlie Hebdo, the art community come together in London to celebrate freedom Organisers reflect on a difficult year for free speech and art which has seen an additional 14 journalists and bloggers killed on top of the 12 Paris murders 12 films, 6 books and 6 journalists to be featured along with over 75 artworks from all over the world London, 3rd September 2015: The globally renowned Passion For Freedom art festival will open in London on Monday 21st September at its new home in the Mall Galleries. The exhibition will showcase uncensored art from the UK, Europe and around the world which aims to promote human rights, highlight injustice and celebrate artistic freedom of expression.
