Ballerina Dreams

Standing female nude bronze sculpture of a ballerina. She is a lean, fit ballet dancer striking a balletic pose as she stretches as if in front of a mirror. The bronze disc she stands on is her imaginary spotlight as she dreams of the stage.

She was commissioned for a private home in Tampa, Florida, USA. By special arrangement she is now available in a limited edition. I specified the brushed stainless steel base and the black bronze finish to compliment the location in my client’s loft, which is all stainless steel, glass, black floors and concrete walls. People say it looks like she was designed for the place. Well, she was! Large bronzes are heavy so the base has very low profile, concealed castors for easy repositioning.

Alternative bronze finishes including natural gold, brown and verdigris are available. If you prefer a different base I can design one to suit the location. She can also be made suitable for outdoor locations.
